S N O W - my ideal meaning and the real meaning .....something to think about ......Ok first of all being from the great state of GA -( and where they just had 1/4 inch of snow 3 weeks ago and closed EVERYTHING down) - I might add . . . . all I can say about all the snow that has fell in Sandpoint, ID is that I am sure glad this did not happen our first year here -
IT WOULD HAVE SCARED US TO DEATH! ! ! !Unbelievable - Amazing - UUGGHHHH- I'm tired of it - My socks are wet! - Where is my other snow boot????- YIKES! My arm of my coat is frozen together- Be careful! Those steps are SUPER DUPER SLICK- Hey Where's Anderson & the Twins???? (
becuase the snow is sooooo tall in places I sometimes misplace them! ha ha funny BUT true!-----Just some of the lines I have been hearing the past few weeks! And frankly I'm aboutT-A-R-D of it ( that's the real spelling of being really really TIRED!)
It has been great - notice the HAS BEEN - but ya know at this rate we will still have snow in July! I long to see my steps again, Hey for that matter I long to sit at my desk here and look at the window and see ANYTHING!!! As I sit here and gaze out I see nothing but a pile of white stuff tht is 18 inches HIGHER than my porch railing!!!OH well it's not all bad, we have had some fun times and great adventures! And to boot it looks like we;ve gotten spring break early!! ha ha YES THAT IS SARCASICIM YOU HEAR!!!Take today for instance - we were out of school Again and Asa was off work and so we went to town to eat and do errands and Wally World - had a great day visited with some folks , checked on others and then came home after making a huge purchase that I bout croacked at - although VERY NEEDFUL - we bought a snow blower! YEAH - Happy Valentines Day Ace! ha ah not for real!
Well all seemed well as we came home and them we went to turn into the driveway...and you guessed it we got stuck! Yep and BAD ! the snow plow had obviously came by and when they do it makes the road great but our driveway the pits! We were stuck on a huge hunk of snow that is called here in the great NW a " berm" it is a hump, but they call it a berm.... OK whatever nevertheless we were stuck on it!So Asa thought he could get us right out, but 2 hours later we were still there! He and Avery dug and stuck boards under and rocked and I drove like a crazy person forward - -backward - -and them all over again but nothing was working. . . . . . .
Then came the
GOOD SAMARITAN of SAGLE and PRAISE THE LORD FOR HIM!!! - - -his name was Levi but he was not like the Levi in the Bible - did not keep passing by he pulled us out and it only took like 3 minutes for him to do it! Well good now we can go in and get ready to eat and all that good stuff -----right???
WWRROONNGG!!!!! -----picture this here we are out in the road our car looking like we are about to pull in the driveway like we had tried to do before and WWAALLLLA - it goes dead----yep dead as a door nail------Can you guess?????? ( this is the Samples we are talkingabout if it can go wrong -----it does, because we are long -line descendents of JOB!)

Well praise the Lord! Well we rocked it and tried to turn it into the driveway the best we could, til we were dying of coldness - aching body parts - and cold feet and knees as we kept slipping down on the icey road....then Asa decides to ask for help! - imagine that! ( I LOVE HIM!) so he gts his gas can and goes over to our sweet sweet neighbors and asked him to take him to the gas station,
but God is soooo good ( thanks Belinda !!) - - - - - -Charlie didn't have to go to the gas station NO - WHY???? He keeps extra gas in his pole barn!!
YYEEAAHHH so he gives it to Asa to have ( what a great neighbor) and then procedes to scold Asa for not letting him pull us out after the first 5 minutes!!! Oh well will we ever learn?????
Now I do not want this to come across as a complaint but to let you know out there no matter how bad your day or week has been
TUNE IN TO THE SAMPLES CIRCUS - - I almost guaruntee that you will find somethig crazy that has went on here that will make you feel better about what your feeling bad about - and even if you are going thru somethin much worse maybe still I can help bring a smile to your face and let you for just a minute forget your troubles!
